05 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Tow

Looking at getting a new to me truck.

05 toyota tundra 4.7 tow. 2301 length 705 height. It out tows my wifes armada. Stiff ride will add HD shocks and may include air bags or extra leafs.

We will be traveling from California to Yellowstone National Park. Glad I found it Googled Toyota Tundra Towing Capacity. Generally Toyota Tundra towing capacities range from a minimum of 8800 pounds to a maximum of 10200 pounds.

HiIs the Toyota Tundra 47L V8 with max towing of 6800 lbs big enough to pull a 2008 Starcraft Antigua 235SBSwhich has a GVWR of 5000 lbs and and Unloaded vehicle weight of 3700 lbs. The 3UR-FE engine was the largest engine out of the three and it had the best. And a 42 double cab with a maximum towing capacity of 10200lbs.

Tows it great and gets about 9mpg. The trailer is 7600 gvwr and the towing capacity is 7600. The towing capacity for the 2008 and 2007 Tundras ranged from 4800-10800 lbs.

The payload is 1620. The 1GR-FE engines had a substantially lower capacity range than the other engines ranging from 4800-5100 pounds and the 2UZ-FE had more capacity ranging from 6200-8500 pounds. I need to weigh the trailer now that I have it loaded to see where I am at.

I will need it to haul a 1982 toyota 4x4 rockcrawler to various offroad parks on the east coast. Power to pull ok. A 40-liter245-horse V-6 shared with the Tacoma and 4Runner and a 47-liter282-horse V-8 thats also found in the Sequoia.
