08 Toyota Tundra Crankshaft Positin Sensor Location
P0336 is most commonly caused by a bad crank sensor reluctor ring issue or wiring problems.

My understanding is that all sensors are covered but even after reminding the Toyota dealership about the remaining warranty they insisted on me originally having to pay 300 to replace the sensor which included diagnostics and RR of the part even before finding the broken sensor. Then if its easy to get to replace. The Toyota Tundra utilizes a crankshaft position sensor CKP in order to regulate the engine timing. When the Solaras ECM determines that there is an issue with the signal coming from this sensor itll throw the P0335 trouble code.
Then unplugged it as it was easier to do once out and able to grab hold of the release tab better. Camshaft position sensor is located on the right hand side between the cylinder head and the air cleaner box assembly as you see from the front of the car. Got code for crankshaft position sensor.
