Has been happening since new. I have a blinking tire pressure indicator on my 4Runner. Turn key to ON dont start motor.
The TPMS sensors including the one on the spare were all less than a month old. The warning light will turn off when the system is reset. If you are unable to find it refer to your vehicles owners manual.
The TPMS reset button is usually located beneath the steering wheel. Check all your tires for tire pressure. A sensor could have failed or the system may need to be relearned.
If pressures are low add air and drive truck at 35mph for about 1 mile and the light will go out unless you have a sensor problem but fotha the light will be flashing. On a trip to Oklahoma the TPMS light started blinking constantly. To reset the baseline pressure the need to all be set to the same cold tire pressure.
