Toyota Tundra Radio Not Working

Radio is stuck on high volume.

Toyota tundra radio not working. Wired rewired changed connector types couldnt get the unit to turn on. As soon as I turn on my headlights the clock no. The clock works when i do not turn on my headlights.

I turned my lights on to drive to work today and the backlight for all the buttons on the radio turn knob channel selector mode etc were not lit. The first one. I cycled the power and it started working again. 2007 Tundra Double Cab 47L TRD 4WD SR5 Mods. The official solution is to have it replaced as apparently Toyota has upgraded them.

The ACC fuse is good and other things on the circuit work and the dome and other lights come on so I think both the switched in-cab and always on under-hood fuses are good though I didnt test. Gave up for the day and put the dash panel back in wo radio installed. Discussion Starter 3 Sep 24 2014.
